The Dinner Party are Pierpaolo Martino, bass, Vladimir Miller, piano, and Adrian Northover alto saxophone. For this performance we are joined by Ansuman Biswas, on vocals, sarod and percussion. The tune is called Nishar Swapan, and is by Rabindranath Tagore.

Nigel Linacre wrote the lyrics after he lost his son George Linacre to suicide. Jazz band leader and pianist Vladimir Miller created the music having lost a band member to suicide earlier in his life.

Diaghilev’s Dance features Leslee Booth on bass guitar and Dave Rohoman on drums, with Vladimir on piano, and is released on ASC Records.

Miller Hutch are a duo that perform their own compositions as well as playing arrangements of jazz standards by Duke Ellington, Miles Davis, Hoagy Charmichael, Freddie Hubbard and many more. They have appeared at venues across the South of England.
Vladimir Miller is a pianist and principal composer and music director of the Moscow Composers Orchestra, and has his own quartet Notes from Underground.
Hutch Demouilpied performs on trumpet and flute and is a composer. Her score for the British/Scottish feature film Limbowas selected for Cannes 2020. Hutch’s recent film The Debutante, by director Elizabeth Hobbs, was short listed at the 95th Academy Awards in the short animation category.
