Vlad Miller will be performing in The Grief Opera – Love Goes On in Chippenham, Wiltshire, on October 7 2023.
Further recording sessions for the upcoming Prima Facie Records CD of the opera will be taking place earlier on the day.
Nigel Linacre started writing the Grief Opera when his son, George, died by his own hand. Jazz musician Vladimir Miller used George’s rhythms as a foundation for the music he composed. The Grief Opera is somewhere between a small-scale opera, a standing concert and a musical.

Vladimir Miller is currently recording The Grief Opera, Love Goes On, an original work of loss and love in song and verse that Vladimir has developed with Nigel Linacre. The work was conceived when Nigel’s son George died in 2021. Nigel started to write, to his son, about his son and about his grief. The recording will be released later this year on the Prima Facie Records label.
